LET’S GO BACK TO WHERE IT ALL BEGINS

My roots emerge in a small town in the southeast of Bulgaria, in an honest home, where I have infinite memories of my childhood and everything my grandparents taught me. It was in between those walls, where I learnt to pay attention to the unnoticed details of life and to do things with passion.

When I was little, my grandmother used to tell me, “Everything you do in this life, do it with your heart,” and so I do. I grew up in a small yet wild garden, learning to appreciate even the tiniest details because, in truth, they were never that small… but rather the greatest.  

It was in that childhood home where I discovered my biggest passions. I enjoy handmade things, a good recipe, cooking something delicious for my favourite people, and doing my bit towards a more sustainable world. I love photography and capturing unguarded memories, of moments or people who matter to me without them even noticing. Sometimes, I wish I could record everything my eyes see, just to store all those special moments.

As an artist, I find details essential for everyday life. From the smell of coffee in the morning that can make you feel like home, to the way the sun bids farewell each day. I consider myself a curious person, and there are many everyday details I love to observe, but this also applies to my work. I like to look beyond the surface, to notice those little things that can make a difference. That’s why, to this day, I still follow my grandmother’s advice — I love doing things with passion and giving my best. I love asking questions and learning something new every day… I love keeping my curious spirit alive.
